The Healing Hero Project began with a simple but powerful mission: to pair rescue dogs with veterans and service families in need of healing, connection, and support. What started as an effort to save lives on both ends of the leash quickly blossomed into a broader vision of holistic recovery—grounded in nature, purpose, and community.

As we expand into Camp Recon, we’re creating a space where veterans engage in regenerative land work, holistic wellness, and community support—honoring the bond with animals while embracing the full spectrum of healing.
