About Us

For years, we have been a part of some amazing organizations that give back to our communities in various ways. By supporting other fantastic organizations that help save the lives of animals and help support them in the lives of our hero's, we give healing companionship to both pets and humans. There's something so empowering being a part of this bigger picture. We can't change the whole world, but we can help change the world for each of these animals who deserve a second chance at a life full of love, fulfillment and purpose.

We are certainly animal lovers, clearly. Over the years, all of our board members have been involved in adopting rescue pets and helping advocate for them. When we launched The Healing Hero Project in 2023, we focused on finding pets we felt were capable of a higher purpose through service work or companionship for our community's heroes. Our unique program ensures that each animal has the time to decompress and learn how to trust again. We facilitate an increase in confidence but starting them on basic obedience and allowing them to thrive while we build a bond.
